L'idée semble être de réagir contre la tendance actuelle qui multiplie les dystopies, les post-apocalypses, etc. Hello Robert, I am so pleased and energized to be receiving hundreds of letters of support and excitement on my new role as Board Chair and Interim Executive Director!  So many of you are looking to partner with us and influence the direction of the World Future Society for the 21st Century. NEWS I recently was featured this week on Intel’s America’s Greatest Makers, a show geared toward a teenage audience. Thought you might enjoy learning a little bit about my background and seeing me in action in this video segment. UPDATES 1. Membership Experience Relaunch. Get ready for a brand new membership experience that will be unveiled in March. We will count on our members to be our partners during this exciting time for the organization. 2. Summit Theme. We are thrilled to announce the theme for WorldFuture 2016: “A Brighter Future is Possible”. At a time when people are fearful, and many dystopian futures lurk ahead, it is up to us to collectively imagine and build the future we want. Humans are the only species on the planet that need not just accept or adapt to changing circumstances -- we have the capacity to consciously evolve and engineer our surroundings. We have ability to imagine, the drive to discover, and the power to come together to turn our greatest challenges into opportunities. A Brighter Future is Possible. 3. Call for Speakers  will be sent out in the coming week. The Agenda for the conference will be ready in March. Final Speakers for the conference will be announced in early April.
